Objective To evaluate the quality of hypoglycemia fear assessment tools for adults,so as to provide references for the selection of high-quality research tools. Methods PubMed,Embase,Web of Science,CNKI,VIP,Wanfang,CBM were retrieved to collect the literature on the measurement properties of hypoglycemic fear. There were 2 researchers who screened the literature and extracted data, independently. Based on the consensus-based standards for the selection of health measurement instruments(COSMIN) guideline, the methodological and measure-ment properties quality of the included assessment tools were evaluated by the COSMIN risk of bias checklist and quality criteria. Results A total of 17 studies involving 6 hypoglycemia fear assessment tools for adults were included, none of which reported cross-cultural validity, measurement error, and responsiveness. All assessment tools were recommended by grade B. Conclusion The 15-item Fear of Hypoglycemia Scale(FH-15) has the most comprehensive measurement properties in its evaluation, and can be provisionally recommended for use,but it needs further testing.

Objective To evaluate effectiveness of evidence-based nursing practice of postoperative delirium management during cardiac surgery under cardiopulmonary bypass. Methods The best evidence was selected for the prevention and management of delirium after cardiac surgery under cardiopulmonary bypass. From May 2022 to April 2023,the evidence-based nursing practice was developed and applied into the Department of Cardiovascular and Macro-vascular Surgery of a tertiary A general hospital in Wuhan. The nurses’ knowledge, belief and practice of postoperative delirium, incidence of postoperative delirium and subdelirium syndrome, the implementation rate of examination indicators were compared before and after the application of evidence. Results A total of 27 articles were finally included. Based on this,23 pieces of the best evidence were selected, and 27 review indicators were constructed. Through evidence-based practice, the scores of nurses’ knowledge, belief and practice questionnaire were significantly increased from(100.81±13.92) to (105.51±10.35)(P<0.05). The implementation rate of 24 indicators was significantly higher compared with baseline review(P<0.05). The incidence of delirium decreased from 43.5% to 34.7%(P=0.120). The incidence of postoperative subdelirium syndrome decreased from 55.1% to 40.1%(P=0.010). The duration of postoperative delirium and sub delirium significantly decreased,respectively(P<0.05). Conclusion Evidence-based practice can reduce the incidence of subdelirium syndrome, and it can reduce postoperative delirium and the duration of subdelirium syndrome. It can improve nurses’ knowledge and practice of postoperative delirium care.

Chinese Journal of Nursing    2022, 57 (6): 711-717.   DOI: 10.3761/j.jissn.0254-1769.2022.06.010
Abstract897)   HTML3)    PDF (972KB)(27)       Save

Objective To explore the true perception of patients with breast cancer who participated the rehabilitation exercise of limb function. Methods Using the purposive sampling method,18 postoperative breast cancer patients admitted in a tertiary hospital in Wuhan,China, from February 2021 to March 2021 were recruited for semi-structured interviews based on the theory of planned behavior. Collected data were analyzed to summarize the main themes by the Colaizzi phenomenological method(7 steps). Results The true experience of postoperative breast cancer patients on the rehabilitation behavior of limb function can be summarized as 3 themes. Behavioral attitude:negative emotions following stress, rehabilitation behaviors that are systematically underestimated, and the value of reconstructing the image of women. Subjective normative measurement:influence of social roles, peer effect, and medical staff support. Perceived behavior control:the confinement of the comfort zone, and the needs of the rehabilitation environment. Conclusion The behavior of limb function rehabilitation in postoperative breast cancer patients is affected by the behavioral attitude, subjective norms measurement and perceived behavioral control. From the perspective of patients, medical staff should correct cognitive bias in rehabilitation behavior of breast cancer patients. Negative cognition needs to be avoided through positive belief factors. Meanwhile, multiple sources of support should be highlighted to stimulate patients’ sense of self-management,create a rich rehabilitation environment, and promote the improvement of breast function rehabilitation behavior of postoperative breast cancer patients.
